The STR NPU02 NPU Audio Extract module allows product developers to receive and decode IP audio streams into analogue audio. The module comes in-built with the Stream-Plus Unified Convergence (UC) Platform application interface, and when used with the UCX software framework, developers can easily stream audio to the module and have it decode the audio. Developers and manufacturers of audio products can benefit from this module allowing them to create an IP paging system, Network Music distribution solutions or any other applications that require IP based audio. When utilized with our UCX Software framework that comes with file streaming modules,  developers can easily create an audio streaming music server for the distribution of music via the network.
